General Election 2019:

A hugely disappointing result for Labour nationally as well as here in Orpington.

But some good results in London, particularly in Putney with Fleur Anderson taking the seat from the Tories.

A huge thank you to all who campaigned and supported Simon Jeal during this campaign, out and about leafleting, canvassing and getting the vote out yesterday in wind and rain. We had lots of positive responses and interest which we will need to build on going forward.

In the meantime, election results not withstanding, best wishes for a peaceful Christmas and Happy New Year.
