Stephen Morgan Elected Prospective Parliamentary Candidate
At the hustings meeting yesterday we elected Stephen Morgan to be our candidate for the next general election.
Stephen was born and raised in Orpington and now lives in Lambeth. He is a local councillor and currently works for TULO, the organization bringing together the Trade Unions supporting the Labour Party.
He has a great track record of campaigning for the Labour Party and other progressive causes, including a year working on the Democrat presidential campaign in the USA. Stephen will bring new energy and valuable skills and experience to Orpington Labour Party. A key goal will be to increase the number of active members so that we can be ready for future election campaigns.
